HOW TO GET CFA SCHOLARSHIPS - ASPIRE NOW GLOBAL

Apart from preparation, the CFA coaching and registration are very expensive. There are a variety of scholarships available for the candidate which allows them to decrease the enrollment fees.

All CFA scholarships have varying application windows, make sure you apply early to get a chance of getting a scholarship.

Here is the process, how you can apply for CFA scholarships

  1. Get your passport

No other form of identification is valid at the time of registration for CFA.

 You will not be eligible for a scholarship if you begin working for an organization that reimburses exam registration fees, but you wouldn't need the scholarship in that scenario anyway.  

  1. Complete the application form with the proper credentials.

Fill in your statement of purpose (SOP). Statement of purpose is an application where you have to tell about your qualifications, work experience if you have any, why you want to pursue CFA and why you are applying for CFA scholarships?.

How to write good SOP's

CFA Institute is more interested in knowing about you so, the more personal your story is, the more is the chance of getting scholarships.

Here are some points that would help you in writing your SOP-

-How did you found about the exam

-What is your career goal?

-How does the scholarship help you?

- What interests you to become a CFA charter?

  1. Final submission of the application- 

Make sure you enter the correct details before submitting, as changes will not be allowed after final submission.

  1. Scholarship Decision

If you have already registered for the exam, you are not eligible for the scholarships as it demonstrates that you have the ability to pay. 


Even though you did not qualify for the scholarship, you are still qualified for a discount on early exam registration valid for one year.

After applying for a scholarship, you must wait for the final announcement before registering for the exam. If you register for a test without a result on your scholarship application, your scholarship application will be rejected.

If you are qualified for a scholarship, you should embrace the privilege by studying rigorously, giving your best shot during the exam. If you do not appear for the exam as a scholarship holder, you may be disqualified from future scholarship applications.

  1. Study Material cost

Even you get the scholarship, you will have to pay $150 more if you want hard copies of the curriculum. The cost of eBooks is included in the registration cost.

  1. For Access scholarships candidates-

CFA Institute has removed the need for references in your Access scholarships application.
